I/R Core Indicators
The trading philosophy behind I/R Indicators
is that markets will impulse, retrace or back test
before reversing in the original break out or current trend direction. It is during this initial
retrace that we attempt to enter a position, trading with the trend.
For those that are familar with 1-2-3 setups, we are entering near
point 2 of the setup.
This gives us an edge over the 'crowd' who will be entering near
the signal trigger at point 1. Often we are taking partial profits as the 'crowd' is just getting in.
Once the 1-2-3 setup confirms, we sit back, manage the trade having already minimized our
exposure from earlier partial profits, according to our
trading plan/rules.
I/R Scalper Scalper uses a similar approach to I/R Indicators, the difference being Scalper identifies minor support or resistance price zones. We enter on a retracement. In the emini Russell, the market will often reverse quickly off these minor price zones to enable traders to pick up small winners. Often, we nail the entry and take our money within 1-2 bars
Use our Scalp Indicator along with your indicators to create your scalping system. I/R Scalper will identify the optimal entry, you add your trading trigger logic, now you are on your way to creating a scalping system with very small initial capital outlay. I will even give you ideas on how to do it.
Scalper Entry Optimizer when used with our propiertary $Tick analyzer, provides an edge for active traders looking to scalp the e-mini Russell.
Products and Trading platform compatibility
All I/R Indicators were written for Tradestation Indicators v8.2
These indicators were designed for day trading the emini Russell futures contract. My favorite time frame is 300 tick on the Russell. They will work on emini ES, NQ and YM. The preferred time frames are Tick charts, followed by Volume charts.
